Cassos is an internationally acclaimed painter and printmaker.  For more than three decades his fine art has been included in many one person and group exhibitions in galleries and museums around the world.  Now he is adding another dimension to his creativity in the form of sculptured jewelry.  In this medium Cassos is a minimalist, focusing on the balance of sculpture and the aesthetic demands of sophisticated wearers.  His creates abstractions  inspired by forms in reality.  The sensuality of the works are heightened by the backdrop of the wearer's body.   Critics have described his technique as "taking simplicity to the level of meditation -- as a window to the soul."  This too, can be said about his jewelry.

Jewelry has always been the most personal of adornments.  A decoration that is a luxurious self-expression.  For Cassos, jewelry has been a personal and intimate dimension of his work, an element of privacy.  Now, he presents a collection of wearable sculpture capturing his Zen, meditative, and minimal perspective.  Some of the elements defined in his understated approach include the dynamics of plane and line and the vocabulary of architecture, all softened by a painter's sensitivity.  Each work is a calligraphy of form, mysterious and sensual.
